There are many words that are often used with global.

Global brand is a brand recognized throughout much of the world.

Global network:

A global network is any communication network which spans the entire Earth.

Global warming:

Global warming is a gradual increase in the Earth´s temperature generally due to the greenhouse effect caused by increase levels of carbon dioxide, CFCs, and other pollutants.
